Job description

The Idaho Department of Corrections (IDOC) is hiring Licensed Clinicians to work in our Corrections facilities! Requirements…
You will be licensed by the State of Idaho with a minimum LMSW or LPC or be able to obtain licensing within 90 days of your date of hire. You will work in a correctional setting, so you may work non-traditional hours and provide after hours on-call services. You do not need experience in this position, we will train you.

What will you do?

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, participate in treatment planning and service providers/community organizations

~Assess client/family needs, formulate assessments and therapeutic recommendations
~Prepare findings, diagnostic impressions, diagnosis and recommendations
~Design, implement and direct multifaceted clinical therapies and rehabilitation programs
~Provide clinical case management services and evaluate treatment effectiveness
~Provide emergency and crisis intervention
~Advocate for client and family; provide client, family and community education services
~Provide forensic services, designated examiner and dispositioned
~Participate in research projects and design training
