The position requires developing, implementing, and monitoring Behavior Support Plans for adults with dementia and neurocognitive disorders. The clinician will provide behavioral interventions on the Skilled Nursing Unit and train nursing and direct care staff on BSP implementation. Responsibilities include conducting behavioral assessments, consulting with interdisciplinary teams, and participating in treatment planning for residents with maladaptive behaviors such as aggression and combativeness. The role serves a census of 16 residents with varying lengths of stay in both short-term and long-term care settings.
