The correctional facility requires LCSW coverage to support comprehensive mental health services for inmates. This maximum-security environment serves individuals with diverse mental health conditions requiring specialized therapeutic intervention. The clinician will work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, providing comprehensive mental health services to a maximum-security inmate population. Responsibilities include conducting intake evaluations, supportive therapy sessions, crisis intervention, and suicide watch placement and removal decisions. The clinician will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and perform both office-based sessions and cell-side interviews as required. Strong skills in general supportive therapy and crisis work are essential, with experience in evidence-based practices preferred for this 6-month initial assignment.
