JOB DESCRIPTION

**PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION** 
-After a warm hand-off from the PCP or BH Specialist, conducts an abbreviated psychosocial intake assessment to ascertain a provisional DSM/ICD diagnosis and provides brief intervention (for stabilization – up to three sessions) 
-If continued psychotherapy is indicated, completes diagnostic intake assessments using current DSM criteria; develops effective treatment plans based on intake assessment and administers psychotherapy services 
-Provides individual and/or group psychotherapy sessions (may include couples’ and family therapy) and collateral sessions as indicated 
-Recognizes signs of “reasonable suspicion” of child/elder/dependent adult abuse or neglect and makes timely mandated reports, with clinical follow up 
-For Psychologists: Psychological evaluations, which may include the use of psychological test instruments and medication recommendations to Primary Care Providers (PCPs) 
-Assists with differential diagnosis and provides case consultation as needed 
-Provides crisis intervention and case management services such as providing referrals for medication, higher levels of care, and/or additional community resources/services as needed.
