Tele-Psychiatrist Opportunity – Texas | Correctional Mental Health | Path to Permanent Employment

Position Highlights
Tele-Psychiatry Role serving adult correctional patients
40 hours per week
Monday–Friday schedule
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Inpatient correctional mental health setting
3-month locum assignment with an additional 3-month extension available
Strong expectation of transitioning to a permanent position after 6 months
Affiliated with UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch)
Telehealth Work Location
📍 Houston, Texas (physicians must be onsite to provide telehealth services)

Standard correctional and managed-care psychiatry
