The facility offers a strong focus on rehabilitation and successful reintegration through programs designed to help inmates recognize and modify negative behavior patterns while supporting long-term behavioral improvement.
π Responsibilities
As a Psychiatrist, duties will include:
β Conducting psychiatric evaluations and assessments
β Assessing and providing DSM diagnoses as appropriate
β Participating in civil commitment proceedings
β Providing medication management and psychiatric treatment
β Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
β Participating in required call coverage
β Supporting rehabilitation and behavioral health initiatives within the correctional setting

Requirements
Board Certified Psychiatrist
Active, unrestricted medical license
BLS certification required
Valid driverβs license
Social Security card required for onboarding
Fingerprinting completed on first day
Ability to pass credit and background checks
Correctional or forensic psychiatry experience preferred
