About the clinician's workday

The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care primarily for children requiring acute mental health treatment, working Tuesday through Friday from 8am to 1pm for 20 hours per week. Clinical duties include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, and managing medications for pediatric patients in an inpatient psychiatric unit. The position includes the possibility of covering adult inpatient services when other prescribers are on vacation or out of office, ensuring continuity of care across both child and adult populations.
