A Psychiatrist Locum opportunity is available within a hospital-based psychiatric emergency room (screening center) in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This position is available due to the departure of the current night psychiatrist and offers an ongoing overnight schedule. The organization is seeking a psychiatrist who is comfortable evaluating both adult and pediatric psychiatric patients in crisis and who has an interest in resident education and supervision.

7 days on / 7 days off schedule
Overnight shifts: 7:00 P.M. – 7:00 A.M.
Week begins Monday at 7:00 P.M. and concludes Monday at 7:00 A.M. the following week
Physician will work 84 scheduled hours per week, less 7 hours allocated for breaks/meals
Total paid hours: 80 hours per week
Every other week off
All coverage is onsite within the psychiatric emergency room/screening center

This is a 7 day on/7 day off position with 12 hour-shifts. The week starts on a Monday at 7 PM with that shift ending at 7 AM all in person in our psychiatric emergency room/screening center. The final shift of the week is starting at 7 PM on Sunday and then ending at 7 AM on Monday. The psychiatrist would be work for 84 hours - 7 hours for breaks/meals for a paid total of 80 hrs/week. The psychiatrist would be off every other week.
