The facility maintains established protocols and clinical resources to support continuity of psychiatric care delivery. Locum tenens coverage is sought beginning January 2027 on an ongoing basis.

Atlantic City is a coastal destination known for its iconic Boardwalk and beaches along the Atlantic Ocean. The area features a range of entertainment venues, including Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena and Boardwalk Hall, which host concerts, comedy acts, and sporting events throughout the year. Clinicians on assignment may also explore landmarks such as Absecon Lighthouse, New Jersey's tallest, and the Liberty in Distress World War I Memorial, which features a 9-foot bronze statue of Lady Liberty.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time psychiatric services within an emergency-based psychiatric intervention program, working 12-hour overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 7-days-on/7-days-off rotation, totaling 80 paid hours per week. The week begins Monday at 7:00 PM and concludes the following Monday at 7:00 AM. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, disposition planning, admissions, discharges, and medication management for both adult and pediatric patients presenting in crisis settings. Clinicians must be comfortable treating patients of all ages in an emergency psychiatric setting. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
