About the clinician's workday

The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive forensic psychiatric care for adult patients during full-time day shifts with no call requirements. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing psychotropic medications, and providing weekly patient assessments on general units with daily rounds on admission and intensive treatment units. The clinician will participate in competency to stand trial evaluations and may have opportunities for in-house call coverage with hourly compensation. Cross-coverage support will be provided as needed by other psychiatrists within the facility.
