Job description

Position: Physician – Psychiatry
Location: Kentucky
Start Date: 9/7/2026 (then every other week ongoing)
Contract Length: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled + Call

📅 Assignment Details
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off (Monday–Sunday)
On-site Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Call: Evening/night call during on weeks
🏥 Practice Setting
Setting: Inpatient
Unit: 19-bed adult inpatient behavioral health unit
🩺 Work Details
Patient Volume: 12–14 patients/day
Average Length of Stay: 5–7 days
Patient Population: Adult

Support Staff Includes:

RNs
LPNs
Mental Health Techs
Activity/Recreation Therapist
🧠 Clinical Scope
Adult inpatient psychiatry
Medication management and treatment planning
Rounding and patient care coordination
Call coverage for psychiatric patients

Board Certification: BE/BC required
License: 🚨 MUST have ACTIVE KY license to be considered 🚨
⏱️ Credentialing
60–90 days

• 13 weeks with option to extend
• On call required
