🌿 Hybrid Supervising Psychiatrist – Outpatient CSB Leadership Role (Georgia)

A well-established Community Services Board is seeking a Psychiatrist to step into a high-impact hybrid leadership role within an adult outpatient behavioral health program. This position blends clinical care, supervision, and system-level leadership in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

✨ Role Snapshot
Start: ASAP
Setting: Outpatient CSB
Schedule: Full-time hybrid (Mon–Fri)
Onsite 2–3 days/week
Tuesday onsite required (treatment team meetings)
Open to: Full-time or part-time
Clinic hours: Flexible (open until 7 PM)
Patient volume: ~4 patients/day
Work balance: ~50% clinical / 50% administrative
Credentialing: 2–3 weeks
🧠 Clinical Focus
Adult patients (18+)
Manage complex psychiatric presentations
Provide medication management and clinical oversight
Collaborate with multidisciplinary outpatient teams
Review and sign off on documentation and prescriptions
🏛️ Leadership Responsibilities
Supervise 4 Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
Additional supervising psychiatrist oversees remaining 5 NPs across system clinics
Participate in weekly treatment team meetings
Policy development and review
Clinical teaching and staff mentorship
Quality assurance and clinical governance
Oversight of complex cases across the program
🤝 Team & Support Structure

You will be joining a robust, collaborative system that includes:

Multiple medical directors across outpatient clinics
9 Nurse Practitioners
Experienced office and administrative staff
Centralized care coordination team
📋 Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist
Active or eligible Georgia Medicaid & Medicare enrollment
Experience in outpatient/community psychiatry strongly preferred
Strong interest in leadership, supervision, and systems-based care
