The psychiatrist will serve in a lead clinical and administrative leadership role providing comprehensive psychiatric care during day shifts with negotiable call requirements. Clinical responsibilities include providing consultation and support for crisis center staff and APRNs, overseeing medical staff scheduling, coverage, and hiring processes, and reviewing referrals to support the admissions process. The clinician will participate in teaching and training activities with medical students and APRNs while maintaining detox protocol oversight for the 36-bed crisis stabilization facility. The facility utilizes a facility DEA and pharmacy process, eliminating the need for individual DEA requirements.
