Job description

A large facility that offers both IP and OP services is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage as they continue searching for a perm provider.
The facility is located roughly 85 miles southeast of Atlanta, Georgia.
This will be a full-time schedule, Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. The clinician will be treating depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, substance abuse, etc. The EMR system is Carelogic. An active GA license is required.
The credentialing time is typically 15-30 days. LocumTenens.com can help assist with any travel and lodging costs as needed.

Dates Needed:  April - Ongoing (until they find perm)
Case Load/PPD:  15 PPD but a max of 21 PPD
Shift Type:  Day Shift

Shift Hours:  Full time (40 hours)
Med Checks/Follow-up per day (OP Only):  20 minutes
Initial Evaluation Time:  40 minutes

Call Required:  No
Board Certification Required:  Negotiable
Prescriptive Authority Required:  Yes
Patient Population:  All Ages
Support Staff:  1 LPN
