The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care for adults with severe mental illness within a community mental health diversion program. Clinical duties include conducting psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and developing individualized treatment plans for patients navigating the legal mental health diversion system. The clinician will work 5 eight-hour days or 4 ten-hour days with a minimum of 40 hours per week, utilizing the AVATAR EMR system with training provided. The position involves field-rounds followed by flexible documentation at the clinician's preferred work location using web-based clinical tools accessible from personal or facility-provided computers.
