Indian Health Services | Low Patient Volume | Long-Term Stability
An Indian Health Services facility in Arizona is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist for a long-term outpatient opportunity serving patients ages 5 and older in a supportive community-based setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking schedule consistency, manageable patient volume, and long-term stability.
Position Highlights
6-month commitment with long-term extension potential
Monday – Friday schedule
8-hour shifts | 40 hours per week
Outpatient-only practice
Low daily patient volume:
Approximately 12–15 patients per day
“Bread and butter” psychiatry cases
Travel and lodging provided
Patient Population
Ages 5+
General outpatient psychiatric care
Routine medication management and evaluations
Requirements
ABPN Board Certified Psychiatrist
Active DEA
Active BLS certification
Any unrestricted U.S. state medical license accepted
