Schedule: On-Call Coverage

Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 15 Days
Call Response Time: 30 Minutes
🧠 Clinical Expectations

Providers can expect a balanced inpatient workload including:

Approximately 10 phone consults per shift
Average of 12 patients per shift
Around 3 admissions per shift
1:5 ratio of follow-up visits to new evaluations
🔍 Responsibilities

✔ Conduct inpatient psychiatric evaluations and assessments
✔ Diagnose and manage acute psychiatric conditions
✔ Provide medication management and treatment planning
✔ Respond to consults and admissions in a timely manner
✔ Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
✔ Participate in on-call coverage and patient stabilization

✅ Requirements
Alabama medical license or IMLC eligibility required
Board Certified preferred
Strong inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
Ability to respond within required call timeframe
