TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) for a full-time permanent opportunity with a community-based behavioral health program in South Carolina. This position offers the opportunity to provide integrated psychiatric care within a collaborative healthcare environment focused on underserved patient populations.

Setting: Outpatient Behavioral Health / Integrated Care
Location: South Carolina
Coverage Area: Multiple clinic locations, including Hartsville, SC two days per week
Clinical Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations
Diagnose and manage behavioral health conditions including:
Depression
Anxiety
Bipolar disorder
Schizophrenia
Other psychiatric conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with primary care providers and behavioral health staff
Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications
Provide crisis intervention and supportive psychotherapy as appropriate
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, case managers, and community resources
Complete timely EMR documentation and maintain accurate patient records
Participate in quality improvement and Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives
Requirements
Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP or PA program
Active South Carolina APRN or PA license required
National certification required
PMHNP-BC preferred for Nurse Practitioners
CAQ in Psychiatry preferred for Physician Assistants
Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric experience strongly preferred
BLS certification required
Strong collaboration and communication skills required
