This community mental health facility provides structured inpatient psychiatric services for adult and adolescent patients requiring evaluation and ongoing treatment. The facility is currently understaffed and is seeking additional clinicians to support care delivery across inpatient units. Credentialing for this position is estimated at 2-3 weeks, and travel expenses are covered.
Washington State offers a range of outdoor and recreational activities, including water-based experiences, mountain pursuits such as hiking, skiing, and camping, and diverse regional destinations. Clinicians working in this region will have access to year-round activities suited to varied interests.
The psychiatric nurse practitioner will provide inpatient psychiatric care for adult and adolescent patients Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, on a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. Clinical responsibilities include rounding on current patients, performing admissions, and managing discharges across inpatient units. The clinician will treat patients presenting with ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, and civil commitments both voluntary and involuntary. Washington State nursing licensure is required or must be in process, and prescriptive authority is required for this position.
