This hospital-based service provides both inpatient and outpatient addiction psychiatry care to adult patients. The facility maintains an established clinical infrastructure to support the delivery of combined inpatient and clinic addiction psychiatry services.

The assignment is located in New York, a state offering a range of regional attractions and year-round activities. The Finger Lakes region features natural destinations such as Watkins Glen State Park and its waterfalls, alongside cultural venues including the Corning Museum of Glass and nature and wildlife tours. Clinicians on assignment will also have access to destinations such as Canalside, the Buffalo AKG Art Museum, the Buffalo Zoo, the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, and Niagara Falls, including the Maid of the Mist on the U.S. side.

About the clinician's workday

This locum tenens position requires a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Addiction Psychiatry experience to deliver both inpatient and outpatient addiction psychiatry services on-site. The clinician will work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with flexibility to structure shifts as 12-hour days or four 10-hour days. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and all clinical work is performed on-site. Documentation is completed utilizing EPIC EMR.
