About the clinician's workday

The psychiatric nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive mental health services in a residential treatment setting. Responsibilities include conducting daily psychiatric rounds on patients, participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, and completing thorough documentation of patient care. The clinician will perform psychiatric evaluations for new admissions, provide ongoing follow-up treatment, manage psychiatric medications, and deliver therapeutic interventions for patients with general mental health disorders, eating disorders, and substance use disorders.
