Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs and treatment plans
Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis
Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent mental health situations effectively and ensure client safety
Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices including motivational interviewing, behavioral management, addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, and gender issues counseling
Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, patient assessment, and clinical research initiatives to optimize care outcomes
Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health support for remote or underserved populations
Requirements

Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field from an accredited institution
Valid licensure or certification relevant to clinical counseling or psychotherapy in the practicing state or region
Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics or individuals with disabilities including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities
Strong knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnosis documentation
Experience with crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA compliance standards
Proficiency in delivering services via telehealth platforms with excellent communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive situations involving trauma or grief with empathy and professionalism
Knowledge of psychopharmacology as it relates to behavioral health treatments is a plus
