An exciting opportunity is available for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a medium-security correctional facility in Tennessee.

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through mental health treatment, rehabilitation, and inmate reentry support in a structured clinical environment.

🔍 Responsibilities

As a PMHNP, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral healthcare services, including:

✔ Conducting psychiatric evaluations and assessments
✔ Developing and managing individualized treatment plans
✔ Utilizing interviews with patients, families, and collateral sources to evaluate mental health conditions
✔ Providing medication management and therapeutic interventions
✔ Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare and correctional staff
✔ Attending court hearings when necessary
✔ Supporting rehabilitation and behavioral health initiatives within the facility

✅ Qualifications
Board Certified PMHNP
Active Tennessee license required
Active DEA registration required
Correctional or behavioral health experience preferred
