Senior Manager, Training and Development

SOCIAL WORKER  JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Manager, Training and Development is responsible for leading the agency's professional development program and related training initiatives. The Senior Manager, Training and Development will collaborate with program and senior leaders to create and maintain a robust Training and Development Program that will meet the requirements of our various funding sources and credentialing bodies, as well as provide opportunities for overall learning and skill development. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
· Uphold the mission, vision, and values of CORA Services, which includes valuing all individuals, supporting the individual's potential for growth, and enhancing a pragmatic service system approach. 
· Plan, develop, and coordinate high-quality training and development programs; pursue opportunities to expand and strengthen offerings. 
· Lead Professional Development Committee as it selects training topics, sets calendar of events, secures trainers, and evaluates professional development program. 
 
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 
· Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resources or related discipline 
 
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: 
· 3-5 years' of relevant experience in adult learning, training, staff development, etc. 
· Passion for learning and development, and knowledge of associated best practice 
· Experience utilizing a learning management system strongly preferred 
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
