JOB DESCRIPTION
Client Summarization:
We are a pediatric group psychology practice specializing in parent guidance consultations, comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, neurodevelopmental screenings, and IQ testing. We identify strengths and challenges and map out a plan to help children, adolescents and young adults flourish. Currently, we are looking for a Pediatric/Young Adult Testing Psychologist. As an SF Mind Matters Clinician, you will partner with parents to help them understand their child, creating a roadmap that leads to family harmony, mental well-being, and academic success. You will empower parents to advocate for their child. You will support teens and young adults in advocating for themselves. You will collaborate with public and private schools to support each learner's unique needs. You will provide comprehensive, compassionate, and cutting-edge care to every family.*
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- At least two (2) years experience providing psychoeducational, developmental and/or neuropsychological evaluations for children, teens, and/or young adults
- Experienced and trained in assessing developmental, attention, learning and social-emotional challenges
- Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Educational Psychologist in California (or license eligible)
- Doctoral degree in Clinical, School or Educational Psychology or related field from an APA Accredited Program, or a Masters degree in School Psychology with additional training in clinical psychology and assessment
- Knowledge of current assessment measures and practices
- Experienced collaborating with elementary, middle, and/or high schools
- Bilingual languages skills and/or expertise in assessing autism, giftedness, or providing IEE's are a plus
