Job description

Outpatient Psychiatrist – Part-Time (Southwestern Pennsylvania)

Position Highlights:

Setting: Outpatient only

Schedule: 2 days per week (flexible daytime hours; half-days possible)

Telehealth:

On-site preferred

Up to 50% telehealth permitted

Patient Population:

Standard outpatient psychiatric caseload

Minimal to no SMI (seriously mentally ill) patients

All ages preferred, but adult-only providers will be considered

If seeing children, youngest patients are around 5–6 years old

Caseload & Appointment Times:

Initial evaluations: 60–120 minutes based on need

Medication management: 15–30 minutes

Supported by mid-level providers and case managers

Requirements:

Must be Board-Certified (BC) in Psychiatry

Active Medicare and Medicaid credentials

Comfortable using Athena EMR
