Adult Psychiatrist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at an Inpatient Facility in New York

Job description

Assignment Details:
- Start: ASAP (upon credentialing)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Call: 1:4 rotation (includes weekend call coverage for Crisis Unit)
- Setting: Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit (30 beds total)
- Patient Volume: ~15 patients per day (30-bed unit split between 2 physicians)
- Team: 3 inpatient physicians currently on staff, plus 2 locum openings
- Safety: 24/7 hospital security; all staff trained in code response

Additional Notes:
- Child/adolescent patients are only seen during weekend crisis call and are evaluated prior to transfer to an adolescent facility
- Board Certification REQUIRED
- Credentialing: ASAP
