🧠 Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Opportunity – Maryland
🏥 Setting
Outpatient – Juvenile Detention Centers
Three sites requiring on-site coverage
Flexible schedule to ensure coverage across all sites
Support staff available: Nurses, Case Workers, PMHNP
🕒 Schedule
15 days per month
8-hour shifts
Available hours:
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Shifts must be consistently scheduled and equally distributed throughout the month
Some remote coverage possible, but on-site is required
May be asked to participate in on-call rotation
👩⚕️ Patient Population
Ages 10–18
Caseload: 3–10 patients per day
Cases include:
Oppositional defiance
Substance use
Withdrawal management
⚙️ Responsibilities
Medication management (15–30 minutes per patient)
Evaluations (1 hour per patient)

✅ Requirements
Board Certified in General Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
Fellowship-trained in C/A acceptable
Experience in juvenile/forensic populations preferred
Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary staff
