- Must be Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
- Shift Type: Rotating weekday/weeknight/holiday call, weekends most likely 1 in 3 or 4
- Schedule: Typically 8a-5p available on the inpatient unit, with rotating weekday/weeknight call and weekend/holiday coverage
- Setting: Inpatient with some medical consult coverage (usually less than 1 per day)
- Duties: Providing direct patient care, giving orders, admissions, discharges, medication management, some involuntary hearings, family conferences, collaboration with ED, medical units and other duties as assigned
- Required Procedures: Board of mental health hearings PRN
- Types of Cases: DSM diagnosis across the lifespan
- Admissions/Day: 5-8
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: nursing staff on the inpatient unit, there is a nurse manager and nurse director and available medical director for collaboration along with other psychiatrists
