Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist – Locums

Assignment Dates: May 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
Department: Behavioral Health
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 8-hour days (includes 30-minute lunch)
Call: None
Overtime: None

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a locum tenens assignment providing coverage across both inpatient and ambulatory child behavioral health settings. This role offers a structured weekday schedule with no call responsibilities.

Setting

Coverage includes Inpatient Child/Adolescent Unit and Ambulatory Child Centers

Pediatric population (children and adolescents)

Behavioral Health Department

Clinical Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a full spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses

Manage a daily caseload of 5–10 patients (including new intakes)

Conduct psychiatric assessments and medication management

Provide care in both inpatient and outpatient/ambulatory settings

Requirements

Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (REQUIRED)

Pediatric Psychiatry expertise mandatory

Active state license (details provided upon inquiry)
