Psychiatrist – Locum Tenens
Location: Tennessee
Setting: Inpatient –Hospital
Schedule: Full-time (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM)
Weekend Coverage: As needed
Call: None
Patient Population: Adults (18+)
Patient Volume: 32 patients total (across two 16-bed adult units)
EMR: Epic – must have prior experience
Work Environment
Support Staff: Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and psychiatry residents
Teaching Role: Physician will supervise and work alongside residents

Requirements
Board Certification: Required – Psychiatry (BC only)
Licensure: Active Tennessee (TN) medical license required at time of submission
DEA: TN-specific DEA registration required
Certifications: ACLS required
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years post-residency
EMR: Must be proficient in Epic – no training provided
Vaccinations: Flu vaccine and proof of recent TB test required
Pace: Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
