Job description

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Forensic Inpatient Psychiatry Locum to work in Kirby, New York. Backfilling for a team member retiring (with a specific rate for the Manhattan facility), as soon as credentialed.



The role of Forensic Inpatient Psychiatry:

Schedule: Monday–Friday. 40 hours. Full-time
Census: Adult Inpatient
Fast-paced environment, yet no extensive walking.
Ramp-up training: 4 patients to begin with.
The expectation will be to ramp up to 7-8 daily patients.
Requirements of Forensic Inpatient Psychiatry Locum:

Active, unrestricted state license
Certifications: Board Certified, BLS, ACLS.
MUST have 5+ years of post-residency Correctional/Forensic Psychiatry experience.
Minimum of two years of past exposure to forensic populations required.
