Full-Time Mental Health Therapist (LISW, LPCC, PsyD/PhD)

Job description

Jay Berk, PhD & Associates is a well-established, multidisciplinary mental health practice serving children, adolescents, and families throughout the Cleveland area. We are known for our practical, hands-on approach to care—helping clients build meaningful skills that translate into real-world success at home, in school, and in the community. As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a full-time licensed therapist to join our collaborative and supportive team.

This position offers the opportunity to step into an established caseload from day one, allowing you to focus on clinical work rather than building a client base. Clinicians in our practice provide individual and family therapy, with opportunities to participate in or lead social skills groups and specialty programming. Our team values collaboration, and you will work closely with psychologists, therapists, and other specialists to develop and implement thoughtful, individualized treatment plans.

We are looking for a clinician who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults, and who is comfortable addressing a range of needs including anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, autism spectrum profiles, and family system challenges. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, communicates effectively with families and outside providers, and appreciates a structured yet flexible environment that supports both clinical excellence and professional growth.

At Jay Berk, PhD & Associates, we provide a strong administrative infrastructure, including scheduling, intake, and billing support, so our clinicians can focus on delivering high-quality care. We offer a collaborative culture, consistent referrals, and opportunities to engage in diverse clinical work across individual, family, and group settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed therapist seeking stability, professional connection, and meaningful impact in their work.

The position is based in Beachwood, Ohio, with in-person services and potential flexibility for some telehealth. Candidates must hold an active Ohio license (LISW, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD).

If you are interested in joining a growing practice that values teamwork, practical outcomes, and high-quality care, we encourage you to apply by submitting your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the role.
