Summary

Join our growing, dynamic team providing therapy services out in the real world with patients every day, helping them to get their lives back. We are looking for a Psychotherapist to provide community-based therapeutic services for individuals with traumatic brain injuries resulting from automobile and/or work-related accidents. This position is essential in helping our clients navigate their recovery process and achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions tailored to clients' needs.
Help patients to develop effective coping strategies and navigate changes in family dynamics, identity, and life goals following their injury.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team (e.g., occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists) to ensure that care is safe, effective, and patient-centered.
Adapt treatment plans to patients’ natural environments (home, community, workplace) to optimize functional outcomes and encourage greater independence.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
Educate clients and families about coping strategies and resources available.
Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes.
Requirements

Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or related field required.
Michigan Licensure as an LLP, TLLP or LPC, or equivalent.
Strong clinical psychotherapy/counseling skills with a focus on patient care and empathy.
Ability to work effectively with diverse clients.
