Bilingual Counselor for Child Advocacy Center

Scotty’s House is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Counselor to provide trauma-focused, evidence-based mental health services to children and adolescents who are victims of abuse, neglect, or other traumatic experiences, as well as their non-offending family members, with the goal of promoting healing and long-term well-being. Counselors may be asked to provide crisis intervention and safety planning for clients in acute distress. They are frequently called on to educate and support non-offending caregivers on trauma, child development, and coping strategies. Clinical Supervision provided.
