DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will represent the psychological services on multidisciplinary treatment teams where treatment needs and problems of consumers are assessed. As a member of the treatment team, you will attend meetings, provide direct patient care, and provide feedback on consumer progress. Your duties will include administering psychological testing and providing psychotherapy. You will utilize techniques to measure intelligence and emotional function to aid in psychiatric diagnoses and treatment planning. You also utilize techniques adapted to the needs and functioning level of the consumer. Additionally, you will participate in a multi-disciplinary team to assess and conduct education and treatment in substance abuse programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Overtime and travel as needed
Free parking!

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Special Requirement:
All employees must possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.
Other Requirements:
PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
You must pass a background investigation.
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
