Full-Time Inpatient Psychologist – Rehabilitation Focus
Schedule:
Weekdays, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Full-time, Monday through Friday
No call required
Role Overview:
Provide psychological services in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
Educate family members and interdisciplinary team members on patients’ psychological status and needs
Recommend evidence-based intervention strategies to address psychological and cognitive deficits
Actively participate in discharge and destination planning for patients
Patient Population:
All ages
Work Setting:
Inpatient rehab-focused units
Work split across two facilities (3 days at one, 2 days at another; local travel required)
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology – Required
Concentration in Rehabilitation Psychology – Preferred
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience – Required
Strong background in behavioral techniques – Essential
Experience in family therapy – Desirable
Must be able to travel locally between assigned sites
