Licensed Psychologist (PsyD/PhD) – IDD Population
Location: On-Site Only
Licensure: PsyD or PhD required (Fully Licensed Psychologists only – No LLPs)
Position Details:
Population: Primarily Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
Age Range: Mostly age 17+, with some cases as young as 7 (primarily guardianship evaluations)
Hours:
First 2 months: 10 hours/week
Ongoing: 20 hours/week
Flexible Schedule within site hours
Site Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Setting: On-site only (no remote work)
Clinical Responsibilities:
Psychological Testing & Evaluations
Therapy (as needed)
Behavioral Plans
Intake & Diagnostic Evaluations (beyond testing)
Assessments & Tools:
IQ Testing:
Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Adults (WAIS)
Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC)
Alternative IQ tests accepted – consult with provider
Adaptive Functioning Assessments:
Preferred: Vineland
Other standardized tools are acceptable
Average administration time: 20–30 minutes
Assessments exceeding 1 hour may be split into multiple sessions
Team Support:
3 Support Coordinators
Psychiatrist
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Administrative Support Staff
Requirements:
Fully Licensed PhD or PsyD (Clinical or Counseling Psychology)
Experience with IDD population preferred
Must accept Medicaid and Medicare
