Clinical:
• Facilitate clinical intakes and assessments for adults and children with a wide variety of mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse challenges.
• Formulate comprehensive person-centered treatment plans that are individualized to the individual/family’s specific treatment needs and are based on clinical experience and knowledge.
• Provide individual services to promote optimum mental health and overall well-being.
• Establish and maintain the confidence and cooperation of individuals and families served.
• Provide psychoeducation on self-management skills building tools and on medication management.
• Provide clinical consultation and work in partnership with individuals and families on service, other staff members and community stakeholders in conducting the goals and objectives of the treatment plan.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Maintain and exhibit self-awareness and sound professional boundaries.
• Establish a non-threatening, culturally sensitive therapeutic treatment environment.
• Refer individuals inquiring about services or on service to appropriate community agencies and resources.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
The minimum requirement for this position is:
Master’s level licensed professional in one of the following licensed discipline categories: (REQUIRED)
