Shape recovery journeys in a truly therapeutic environment
We are hiring Clinical Psychologists (Arabic Speaker) to join a premium residential addiction treatment facility in Abu Dhabi.
This is not a typical outpatient or hospital role.
You will work closely with patients over time, supporting them through addiction recovery, mental health stabilization, and long-term behavioral change in a structured, multidisciplinary, and highly supportive setting.

About the role
You will play a key role in delivering psychological care to adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, working alongside psychiatrists, nurses, and recovery specialists.
What you’ll be doing
Deliver individual and group psychotherapy for addiction and dual-diagnosis patients
Apply evidence-based approaches such as:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
DBT-informed interventions
Trauma-informed therapies
Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, case discussions, and care planning
Contribute to treatment plans, relapse prevention strategies, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation aligned with best practices
Provide culturally sensitive care, including family engagement and psychoeducation where appropriate
What we’re looking for
Essential:
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (mandatory)
Minimum 2–4 years of post-qualification clinical experience
Eligibility for DOH – Abu Dhabi licensure (as per PQR requirements)
Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic approaches
Ability to work in a structured residential setting
Highly Preferred:
Experience in addiction, mental health, inpatient, or residential care settings
Arabic language capability (strongly preferred)
Experience working with adult patient population
