About Mixed World Therapy
Mixed World Therapy is a culturally responsive therapy practice created to better serve mixed race, Multiracial, multiethnic, and multicultural individuals.
We believe clients deserve therapists who understand that identity can be complex. We’re building a network of thoughtful, compassionate clinicians committed to providing high quality care while continuing to grow their understanding of race, culture, identity, and Multiracial experiences.
About the Role
We’re seeking licensed therapists in Georgia to join our growing clinical team and provide virtual therapy to clients across the state.
Clients may seek support for anxiety, depression, relationships, family dynamics, life transitions, identity, belonging, self esteem, stress, and other common reasons people come to therapy.
You do not need to specialize in Multiracial mental health or identify as Multiracial. We’re looking for excellent therapists who demonstrate cultural humility, openness, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to learning.
What You’ll Do
• Provide virtual psychotherapy to clients in Georgia
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Create an affirming environment for clients from diverse backgrounds
• Complete Mixed World Therapy’s specialized certification training
• Maintain applicable ethical and licensure requirements
• Set and maintain your availability for clients
Who We’re Looking For
Applicants should:
• Hold an active, unrestricted independent Georgia license, such as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, or other applicable independent behavioral health license
• Be eligible to provide telehealth services in Georgia
• Have experience providing psychotherapy to adults and/or adolescents
• Demonstrate cultural humility and an interest in culturally responsive care
• Be comfortable working with clients from diverse racial, cultural, and identity backgrounds
• Be committed to ethical, inclusive, client centered care
• Be open to continued learning and professional development
Experience working with Multiracial or multicultural populations is welcomed, but not required.
Free Specialized Certification Training
You don’t need to arrive at Mixed World Therapy as an expert in Multiracial mental health. We provide the specialized training.
Every therapist who joins our clinical team completes the Mixed World Therapy certification training program completely free of charge.
The training provides specialized education and practical approaches for culturally responsive counseling with Multiracial clients.
Why Join Mixed World Therapy?
We support our therapists with:
• Free specialized certification training
• Flexible remote scheduling
• Client acquisition and marketing support
• Billing and administrative support
• Virtual client sessions
• Continued learning and professional development
• The opportunity to help shape a growing clinical community
Our goal is to allow therapists to focus more of their time and energy on what they do best: providing excellent care to their clients.
Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience, credentials, caseload, and engagement structure. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process.
