Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Provide caring and comprehensive clinical services to support client needs through individual, group, and family therapy to clients aged 3-18.
Involve clients, caregivers, and others in client-centered, multidimensional assessment and care.
Complete comprehensive clinical documentation that meets the ethical and legal standards of the clinic and its regulatory bodies.
Collaborate with clients to establish personalized treatment goals that are client-centered and based on their strengths. Modify treatment as necessary according to client progress and current need.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, play therapy, family therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
Assist clients in a crisis, initiating clinic processes to ensure client and staff safety.
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, educators, and community resources.
Participate in supervision, peer consultation, and continuing education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with clients on their discharge plans to ensure their ongoing treatment needs are met after discharge.
Stay up to date with the latest research, best practices, and trends in child and adolescent mental health therapy.
Offer services in person and/or via telehealth based on client and clinic needs.
Provides some case management, including referrals and linkages to community support services to support and empower client’s goals.
Participates in after-hours on- call coverage on a rotating basis.
Attend and actively participate in agency and program/team meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Master’s degree in clinical psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Creative Arts Therapy, or related field.
State licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCAT, or if not licensed, possesses a limited permit and will successfully pass licensing exam by the end of permit period.
Specialized training or experience in child and adolescent mental health therapy.
