Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible within one year of fellowship) Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a well-supported team in Washington State. This full-time role offers a unique balance of 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient care, serving a 100% pediatric population in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call: Assigned patient call coverage via beeper; some weekend call to be discussed during interview
EMR: Epic
Patient Volume: 8–10 patients per day (includes admissions from ER/medical floor, rounding, consults, and follow-ups)
Caseload: Mix of new evaluations and 1:1 follow-ups
Setting: Acute Psychiatric Institute/Unit + Outpatient Clinic

Registered Nurses (RNs)
Occupational Therapist (OT)
ABA Therapist
Family Therapist

Shared office space with attending psychiatrist from psychiatry residency program

Pharmacotherapy
Requirements:
Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (or within 1 year of fellowship)
Active Washington State License or eligibility via IMLC
BLS Certification
Experience in supervision and teaching of CAP fellows and psychiatry residents
Comfortable with a full spectrum of pediatric psychiatric disorders and inpatient procedures
