Position Overview

A facility in the Virginia Beach metro area is seeking a Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for inpatient coverage. Join a well-supported behavioral health team providing care to children and adolescents in a general psychiatry setting.

Schedule
7 days on / 7 days off
Monday–Sunday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM onsite
Mandatory 1-week training required in September or October
Clinical Details
Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Patients ages 5–17
Cerner EMR
Strong multidisciplinary support staff
Requirements
MD or DO
Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Prior practice experience required; new graduates will not be considered
Additional Information
Travel and lodging provided
Holiday coverage needed through year-end
Potential opportunity for continued coverage into January 2027
