📋 Contract Details
🔹 Anticipated Start Date: June 1, 2026 (ASAP)
🔹 Assignment Length: Ongoing
🔹 Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
🔹 Schedule: 10-hour shifts, primarily 7 on / 7 off
🔹 Call: Required for a portion of the week, details TBD
🔹 Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60–90 days

🏥 Work Details & Patient Scope
🔹 Practice Setting: Inpatient
🔹 Unit Census: 24 beds (split between 2 physicians and 1 APP)
🔹 Patients per Shift: 18
🔹 Daily Volume: 1–3 admissions per day; remainder follow-ups
🔹 Patient Population: Child & Adolescent (unit may flex pediatric/adolescent bed distribution based on admits). Locums have flexibility/ability to cover preferred age group (pediatric or adolescent)
🔹 Support Staff: Practice manager, techs, nurses, social workers, APPs
🔹 EMR: Cerner PowerChart


📋 Candidate Requirements
🔹 Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry: Required
🔹 Active North Carolina License: Required
🔹 North Carolina DEA: Required
