Billings Clinic Hospital is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide weekday inpatient coverage for the Psychiatric Youth Treatment Unit (PYTU). This is a locum tenens position offering a predictable schedule and no after-hours or weekend call, making it ideal for providers seeking flexible, high-impact clinical work.

The provider will care for patients ages 5 to 17 with a daily caseload of 8–12 patients. There are no emergency department admissions—all direct admits are coordinated through the internal transfer center from regional facilities. The role is part of a long-term search and supports vacation and CME coverage for the existing staff.

Assignment Details:
- Schedule: Weekdays only | No weekends or after-hours
- Setting: Inpatient psychiatric care (ages 5–17)
- Patients per shift: 8–12
- Admissions: Direct from regional hospitals (no ED)
- Call: None (locums not on call during non-business hours)
- EMR: Cerner | Communication: Voalte
- Department is part of a Level 1 Trauma Center

Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry required
- BLS certification required
- Licensed in MT or IMLC
- Must obtain hospital privileges (no temp privileges offered)
- Credentialing timeframe: ~90 days
