Hybrid Telehealth Psychiatry Position in Michigan

20-40 Hours per week; Hybrid
must be on site 2x/month if only working 20 hours more days req. if working 40 hours
ages: birth to 18, with potential for some adults. Majority of patients aged 8-18.
Provider must also be comfortable working with and prescribing to pregnant women.
PPD: TBD, An initial psychiatric evaluation is completed, with at least weekly (sometimes more) follow up med reviews for the duration of time that a child is in Diversion. PE's are usually 1.5 hours, with med reviews 30-45 minutes (this depends on the complexity of the individual). There may be some additional hours that are used to see children on an on-going basis.
BC-C/A (required for presentation)

candidate should have exp in children's diversion and crisis programs; must be willing to be primary support for crisis stabilization program
The population will primarily be Children's Diversion individuals, which are children in a psychiatric crisis who enter our crisis stabilization program for up to 28 days.
For the Children's Diversion program, there is a daily huddle to review individuals, discuss progress, plan for discharge, etc. Huddles usually occur first thing in the morning. The rest of the day would be spent completing PE's and med reviews.
