This facility operates an intensive outpatient program (IOP) providing psychiatric services to children and adolescents, with a patient population spanning all ages. The program is newly established and seeks locum tenens coverage to support its clinical operations on an ongoing basis. Clinicians will deliver coordinated psychiatric care within a structured outpatient environment.
Northern California offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore natural landmarks such as Redwood National and State Parks, Yosemite National Park, and scenic coastal destinations including Bodega Bay and Mendocino Headlands State Park. The region is also home to notable sites such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and Stanford University, alongside wine country experiences in Napa Valley and diverse terrain spanning coastal bluffs, ancient redwood forests, Sierra Nevada trails, and scenic waterfalls such as Burney Falls.
The clinician will provide child and adolescent psychiatric services within an outpatient intensive outpatient program (IOP) setting, initially working 8 hours per week with the potential to expand up to 16 hours per week. The patient population includes all ages, with the majority of patients between ages 13 and 16. This is a new program, and the clinician is required to be on-site at least one day per month. No call obligations are associated with this position, and prescriptive authority is required.
