As a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, you'll provide trauma-informed psychiatric care, collaborate closely with schools and juvenile justice systems, and help guide at-risk children toward better futures.

Key Responsibilities
βοΈ Conduct ADHD diagnostic evaluations using tools like the Vanderbilt scales, and support school-based 504/IEP accommodations
βοΈ Manage medications for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), such as aripiprazole for irritability, while partnering with ABA therapists
βοΈ Perform court-ordered forensic evaluations, including assessments of parental competency and trauma-induced dissociative symptoms
βοΈ Supervise Child Psychiatry Fellows in handling crisis intervention and managing self-harm and suicidal ideation cases
βοΈ Partner with educators, social workers, and juvenile courts to build holistic support plans for youth

What Weβre Looking For
βοΈ Active California Medical License
βοΈ Board Certification or Eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
βοΈ ABPN Certified
βοΈ DEA Certified

Schedule Options
Full-Time (FTE)
βοΈ 8-hour day shifts
βοΈ Includes 10β12 med management appointments, 3β5 court evaluations per week
βοΈ Afternoon hours prioritized for school collaboration
Part-Time (PTE)
βοΈ 4β6 hour shifts, typically 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
βοΈ Ideal for school-based and residential care visits
