Clinical Psychologist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and a passion for helping individuals achieve their therapeutic goals. This role involves providing psychological assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. The Clinical Psychologist will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, utilizing telehealth services as needed.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychotherapy.
Offer crisis intervention services to patients in acute distress.
Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns in clinical practices.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
Engage in research activities to contribute to the field of psychology.
Provide counseling for specific populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with disabilities, and those experiencing PTSD or addiction issues.
Facilitate family counseling sessions and support groups as needed.
Participate in intake processes and psychological testing for new patients.
Requirements
Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure to practice as a Clinical Psychologist.
Experience working with children and families preferred; school experience is a plus.
Familiarity with behavioral health practices and mental health counseling techniques.
Knowledge of telehealth platforms and experience providing remote therapy services.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, intake interviews, and psychological testing.
Experience in crisis intervention and managing acute psychiatric conditions.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

REQURED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION
Hold a full, current and unrestricted license at the Doctoral level for the independent practiceof Psychology issued by the state in which the duty station is located. Any changes to licensemust be reported to the employer.
Meet requirements for inclusion in the National Registry of Psychologist Providers if graduatedafter 1 January 1982.
